3D assemblies and sub assemblies can be put together and tested extensively within our software. BOM’s can be created and maintained within assemblies.

The assembly drawing is a key product we produce here at IMW. The assembly drawings contain a list of all components and subassemblies within the assembly. This BOM (Bill of materials) can include all fasteners, fittings, wiring and tubing along with any special components such as tape or shrink tubing.  The cool things about these assemblies is that they are linked to the BOM’s. So if we change a fitting or any other part, the assembly and thus the BOM are updated automatically. This link ensures that the BOM is always accurate.
