Delta C Technologies Inc. had a long standing series of products that they wanted to have updated pictures of for their new web site. The obvious option was to assemble all the possible configurations of their product and have them photographed in a studio against a consistent back drop. There were a few drawbacks to this choice. Initial cost and lead time was high, new model changes would be hard to update and the photographs were extremely limited in their use to ...well… pictures.

Delta C chose to hire IMW instead of a local photographer. The IMW models are incredibly versatile and by far, a better investment. The completed models were constructed from Delta C’s engineering drawings and data. This means that these models may be used in the future to create manufacturing drawings. IMW supplied a free program, e-Drawings, which allows Delta C to view the models, rotate, explode, section, selectively hide/highlight, selectively change transparency of all the parts and assemblies. With this software Delta C is able to create its own views for printing or the web. These images can also be utilized for operation manuals and many other uses.

Engineering changes can easily be integrated into the existing models by IMW and supplied to Delta C to allow them to update all of their image based materials.

IMW is also able to offer animations of the entire product line as well. This allows Delta C to produce training documentation and video to present such things as installation, uses and maintenance procedures.
